Homeless Prevention & Re-Housing

Empower Yolo offers Rapid Re-housing and Homeless Prevention services to eligible participants in Yolo County. Both programs prioritize housing stability and aim to address homelessness at its root, whether by swiftly rehousing individuals or preventing them from losing their homes in the first place. Rapid Re-Housing facilitates this by providing housing relocation, stabilization services, and short-term rental assistance, ensuring a smooth transition to sustainable living for individuals who meet the HUD definition of “literally homeless.” Homelessness Prevention, offers participants rental assistance to stabilize their housing situations and prevent further displacement.
