Trained advocates are available 24/7 to provide crisis intervention, emotional support, advocacy, information, and referrals.

Walk-in Crisis Support

Come in to speak with an advocate in person. Trained advocates are available to provide crisis intervention, emotional support, advocacy, information, and referrals at the following locations and times:

Main Office – 175 Walnut Street in Woodland, CA 95695; 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Fridays (excluding holidays).

Davis Resource Center – 441 D Street, Davis, CA 95616; 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Fridays (excluding holidays).

Knights Landing Resource Center – 9586 Mill Street, Knights Landing, CA 95645; 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (excluding holidays).

West Sacramento Office – 1025 Triangle Court, Suite 600, West Sacramento, CA 95605; 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (excluding holidays).

Concerned Advocates Responding to Emergencies (CARE) Team

24/7 emergency response and advocacy services for survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking and their families. CARE Team advocates provide hospital and law enforcement accompaniment, crisis intervention, emotional support, criminal justice, legal and social service advocacy, and information, and referrals.

In partnership with the Yolo County Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center (MDIC), Empower Yolo’s CARE Team coordinates services to child victims of sexual assault and provides emotional support, advocacy, information and referrals to parents/ guardians during child interviews.

Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT)

In partnership with Yolo County law enforcement agencies, Empower Yolo’s DVRT provides response, crisis intervention, emotional support, legal, law enforcement and criminal justice advocacy, court preparation, safety planning, social service advocacy, California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) and Safe at Home program application assistance, VAWA and U-VISA referrals, and information and referrals to victims of domestic violence and their families.  The CalVCB application can be found here.

Empower Yolo’s DVRT Advocates are located at the Woodland Police Department, Davis Police Department, West Sacramento Police Department, Winters Police Department and the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office.
