Empower Yolo offices are open during regular office hours to provide services to individuals and families in need.
Appointments are encouraged. Please call the office at the location you wish to visit.
Empower Yolo offers these and other services in Yolo County: safe shelter for victims of domestic violence/sexual assault/human trafficking, crisis line, restraining orders, family legal services, therapy, housing referrals, food referrals & distribution, health insurance by appointment, emergency clothing, hygiene products, diapers, case management, and other services as needed.

Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) Talk:
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month join Empower Yolo’s Associate Director, Celina Alveraz for a Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) Talk, a presentation on important topics related to prevention, supporting survivors, and building safe communities. Together, let’s raise awareness, foster dialogue, and work towards a future free of sexual violence.

Join us for a Shower for the Shelter:
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month join Empower Yolo for a month long shower for our safe house to support survivors and their children. Thank you to those who donated during our in-person drop off event on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 441 D Street in Davis (we ask for new gifts only, please). If you didn’t have a chance to donate at the event, donations can be dropped off any time throughout the month of April at the Resource Center in Davis or the main office at 175 Walnut Street, Woodland during office hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Thursdays 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Fridays 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Thank you for your support!

If you are interested in counseling work, social work, or education volunteer with Empower Yolo and help support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
